# SBO Software suite Installation
This guide is tested for Schneider Electric SBO installation.
Compatible release:
- 1.9.2.45
# Installation
List of software:
- SBO Device Administrator: allows administration of devices like Automation Servers
- SBO Entreprise Server: SBO local server and start/stop service
- SBO License Administrator: License administration
- SBO Workstation: Software for engineering and operating
- SBO Project Configuration Tool: Software for emulating Automation Server and Entreprise Server (based on Docker)
- SBO Project Configuration Tool Client Installer: Software for using SBO PCT
- TAC Vista to SBO Conversation Tool: Set of tools for migrate TAC Vista projects to SBO
# SBO Suite first startup
- License your server
- Go to Schneider Electric Exchange Extranet and connect with your user account
- Download the last evaluation license (ex. StruxureWare Building Operation Evaluation License Expiring March 1 2018 - SmartStruxure Solution)
- Launch SBO Entreprise Server and click start (NB: Note TCP ports number for non conflict)
- Start SBO Workstation and use the default account: admin/admin ; The software ask you to change the default password
- Registrate your system now or later
- Choose your workspace style, by default "Administration"
- Configure Certificate (To see more...)
- Go to
Tools>Control panel - Select
Security settings - Select
Certificates - Select the server (note it IP Address, default is 192.168.43.34) and show properties
- Select
Manage Certificate - Select
Generate certificate - Add a name to certificate, check "Use IP/DNS from communication settings" and change the Valid to
- Wait for generation, and select this certificate for the server
- Restart SBO Workstation
- Start SBO Workstation and check Always trust certificate before log in
Note: Use always the Server IP for connecting to the server and never localhost because certificate is not recognize.
# TAC Vista to SBO Conversion Tool
- Configure SBO settings
- SBO server: IP Address, default for local is 192.168.43.34
- Username: the username used to connect to SBO server
- Password: the password used to connect to SBO server Note: You need to configure certificates before logging from TAC Vista to SBO Conversion Tool
- Make an export of the existing SBO server
- Select
SBO Export...and choose the export name
- Select the Vista database export file
- Select
Analyze - Select
Convert
